thank you for choosing our 2022 World Cup widgets. Here you will find information for their use as well as further information on editorial coverage.
Availability and editorial contact
You can reach our editorial team at firstname.lastname@example.org from around 10:00am (CET) until the final whistle of the day, depending on the start of the matches.
When does the ticker start?
We will always switch to the current matches of the day in the late morning (CET).
The line-ups of the two teams for the respective matches are available about 45 minutes before the start of the match. Feel free to use the widgets as a teaser element. After the matches, the widgets are also an excellent way to supplement your editorial reporting in the individual articles.
Widget Countdown: What happens when it has expired?
The widget is programmed to display the goals, matches and average number of goals per match when the World Cup starts.
The teams are now also available in the live centre and in the widget "Teams" including the player pictures. Unfortunately, not all player pictures are available yet. However, these will be updated regularly.
Incorporation, configuration, adjustment, tracking
dpa-SportsLive is set up modularly: results, schedules, tables - there is a widget for each type of result. All widgets and their graphic elements can be easily incorporated into web articles, or can serve as landing pages. They are also suitable to act as teasers on the front page of a website, to link to pages specifically dedicated to the World Cup 2022.
All widgets are adjustable in regard to shape, colour, and font. They are optimised for desktop websites as well as mobile devices, and can be integrated into apps.
